ZSM - Programme | Student Internship

Student internships are a mandatory part of the Tourism Program at the Zagreb School of Management. The internships last for three (3) months and are foreseen during the course of the 7th semester. The principal goals of the student internships are supplementing theoretical knowledge with practical experience, acquiring of new skills, adapting to a working environment and guidance in career choices. Each student internship is supervised by an 'academic mentor' from the School faculty and a 'field mentor' from the institution or the business where the internship is taking place. The student and his/her mentors are charged with elaborating a Program of Activity for the duration of the internship. The Program is to cover as wide a scope of tasks as possible giving the student an insight into the variety of operations taking place in a given institution or business. The student is required to submit a monthly internship report and the mentors evaluate the student's work after the Internship has been finalized.
