A special quality of ZSM is a regular, once per semester, participation of students on the educational trips (field work education), which includes professional visits to Croatian regions lasting for one or two days. In the sixth term, a five days excursion to International Tourism Fair in Berlin is traditionaly organised, and it also includes a visit to Prague. Appart from regular educational trips, ZSM occasionaly organizes the optional domestic and international excursions.
