ZSM - About ZSM | Library
ZSM library collects, processes, stores and lends all library materials (mainly scientific literature), as well as distributes and exchanges information. With the aid of the new technology, the Library is being developed into an information centre that provides students with an easy and swift access to the literature and information required for examinations.
The collection within the Library contains books, course books, collection references and magazines. ZSM Library collaborates with the Institute for Tourism Library (BIT) in exchange of library materials, inter-library loans, assistance in operations and in business administration. Students have access to all materials in the BIT but materials can not be taken out and can only be used in the BIT or ZSM Library area; a student’s record book- “Index” is required for access.
Course books for certain modules are available for purchase in the Library.
The Library is located in the Institute for Tourism. All ZSM students are entitled to use the Library. Opening hours are: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9,00 to 13,00; Thursday from 14,00 to 18,00; Friday from 15,00 to 17,30.
When borrowing the materials for the first time, a student’s “Index” is stamped; in this manner the record of lending and returning the books is kept.The whole collection of the ZSM and Institute for Tourism Library is available on the web and students can conduct an on-line search of bibliographic data base.
